Friday, August 19th:

You can expect to find a significant presentation of Panteras
at the famed Concorso Italiano. Over 80 cars in 2004.

Featured marque: Alfa Romeo

Again, this year Pantera International will be the official DeTomaso host at the Concorso Italiano at its new location at the Black Horse Golf Course overlooking the scenic Monterey Bay.
Last year we had a very large gathering of Panteras and this year, we expect even more.
Trophies will be presented by Pantera International at the White Glove Concours for all DeTomaso automobiles featuring categories ranging from trailer queen to wash 'n wax. You will spend a leisurely day with the best possible parking - on the green with the rest of the Italian machinery - enjoying the strolling musicians, fashion show, the drive-by presentations of each marque, Italian food concessions and automotive vendor booths.
The day goes by so quickly; you'll forget you're at a concours. If you haven't entered your car already, you can do so at http://www.concorso.com/
Exhibitor Fee: $75.00 which includes 2 admission tickets through May 31st only. After May 31st, the price increases to $100/car through June. Through July the price steps up to $250 per car.
Spectator admission: $70.00/person until March 31st and then $85.00 per person April 1 - July 29th. After July 29th, $100 per person. On Friday evening, we suggest you attend any of the auto auctions being conducted or take a stroll on historic Fishermen's Wharf on historic Cannery Row.

Saturday, August 20th:

The famous Pantera Corral at Laguna Seca Raceway

Help celebrate Jim Hall's fantastic Chaparral race cars. Chaparral has been selected as the honored marque and we understand that the display of Chaparral racing machinery will be second to none!
The Pantera International corral will be set up with the enclosed tent for dining and relaxing with a secured parking corral for your vehicle. Don't miss our on the track experience and the opportunity to hang out with the rest of the Pantera gang.
Make your reservations now so that we can save you some grub and a place to park your car. Without a corral pass, you are relegated to the public parking up on the hill where you are in danger of door dings and your car rolling down the steep hills - Seriously! So here are the numbers:
Race Tickets are available through PI: Saturday only:
$50.00/per person ($60 at the gate)
Sat/Sunday combo:
$75.00/per person ($110 at the gate)
Children under 12 are free
BBQ/Corral parking pass: $40.00/per person for PI Members. Non-members are $45.00/per person.
The luncheon is a gourmet delight prepared and served in our PI tent by Tarpy's Restaurant of Monterey. Unlimited soft drinks and beer.

Sunday, August 15th

Mr. Tom Tjaarda - the designer of the Pantera and Pebble Beach Concours Judge shown at a prior event.

Pebble Beach Concours

Concours d'Elegance at Pebble Beach. $100/person. Tickets can be purchased at the site or by calling (831) 659-0663. After an early morning visit to the Concours, return to Laguna Seca Raceway for the afternoon races, where a completely different group of racers run on Sunday. Viewing is at its best due to the lack of crowds. This is your opportunity to sit right in front of the famed corkscrew and feel the ground thunder under you when those big bore cars come screaming by.

A word of caution: if you are planning on coming to the track on Sunday and want to park in the Pantera corral, tickets must be purchased ahead of time to receive a corral pass valid for Sunday; the corral parking will be at a different location. The Saturday corral pass is NOT valid for Sunday.

Return to Laguna Seca Raceway on Sunday to watch the CanAm cars thunder down the corkscrew!
